Pellings were involved in the CDM Regulations from their inception and in particular with the CIC and CIRIA Task Forces. This resulted in Pellings leading the way in 1994 as one of the first practices to introduce the service of Planning Supervisor.
The new regulations, CDM 2007, require a much greater involvement by the Client and we are able to offer advice and guidance in our capacity as CDM co-ordinator.
The depth of experience and skills of our dedicated CDM Co-ordinators has resulted in numerous appointments for projects including housing, schools, hospitals, commercial and leisure facilities.
Our CDM Co-ordinator team provides a discrete service from our North London office ensuring that all matters relating to Health and Safety are treated independently.
Pellings were appointed as CDM Co-ordinators for conversion of a Grade II Listed factory to provide modern office space. This service is led by Keith Dew FRICS, Partner at Pellings, who has been actively involved in CDM Regulations since their inception through his activities with the RICS.
He chaired the RICS Practice Panel on Health & Safety in Construction and represented the RICS on the CIC Health & Safety Task Force. Other clients include:
