Training and development
- In 2007 Pellings provided an average of 12.5 training days per member staff.
- Pellings run technical and product CPD (Continued Professional Development) programmes for staff and clients. We subscribe to the CPD foundation course which provides access to lectures ranging from administration through to technical, time management and personal development.
- We also provide training for all staff covering a wide area including IT software, Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and Health and Wellbeing.
- Pellings is formally recognised by RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) as an office for structured training for APC (Assessment of Professional Competence). This enables holders of appropriate Graduate Degrees to train with Pellings on the route to becoming Chartered Surveyors.
- Annual assessment to review training needs.
Social
- Pellings provides at least a summer and winter social event each year.
- The Pellings Annual Conference has developed into an extremely popular event. It enables all staff to interact and to understand our business and feel part of it.
- Arrange various ad hoc sporting events, such as Football, Softball and a Golf day.
- Participate in Social Awareness and Charity events.
